YMCA were invited to expand their NESS service (Neighbourhood Employment & Skills Service) to support the community of Eastfield, Wolverhampton. The service was officially launched by Wolverhampton's Deputy Mayor, Bert Turner, on 24th January 2011.
This month sees the launch of YMCA's new Training & Development Service. Wolverhampton YMCA has a well established history of delivering innovative training courses and has developed and expanded its provision to offer a wider range of courses and workshops to its customers. Our friendly and enthusiastic training team are experts in understanding the needs of our learners and therefore courses can be tailor made to suit the specific requirements of any organisation.
YMCA Dove Learning Centre situated in Pendeford was chosen as one of the eight centres across Wolverhampton to offer this new service in the community. The Mayor of Wolverhampton officially launched the service on 29th July 2010 which was celebrated with fun activities for the community.
